Who are we looking for? Our Central Region Environmental businesses in both
Baton Rouge , Louisiana and
Houston , Texas are looking for a
Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects.
This role can be based on either
Baton Rouge, LA or Houston, TX .
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: - Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.
- Waste Management: Lead waste projects or supervise areas of the organization, ensuring adherence to regulations and effective reduction, segregation, and disposal of waste.
- Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
- Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.
- Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
- Coordinate and implement project permitting
- Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
- Development of business opportunities
- Mentorship of staff
Education - Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field
Experience
- 3-6 years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
